My Second Tournament

My second tournament was with a guy who weighed 120 and he was 5'4. This was my first   tournament as a yellow belt so I was really scared because I never competed with the yellow belts. I was really nervous before my fight when they called my name to go up and I saw the guy I was competing against I was thinking that I was going to lose.  The referee told us to shake hands and he said "fight". When we started   he judo threw and I fell on the ground hard he go on my side and that position is called side control. He was trying to get to mount another position but he couldn't so I tried to get out the position I was in but he didn't let so when I tried again he did a kimura a submission in jiu jitsu I tapped out. The referee stopped the fight and I lost and that was the first time I lost and competed in a yellow belt tournament came home with nothing that was the first time I ever lost.

Rodolfo Vieira "The Black Belt Hunter"

Rodolfo Vieira was born on the 25th of September, 1989 in Rio de Janeiro – Brazil. He started his training in jiu jitsu to help him lose weight when he was 13 years old with coaches Arlans Maia and Bruno Souza. Rodolfo trained and competed for the pair achieving blue belt at the academy. He then changed to Universidade Gama filho (that is now called GFTeam – Grappling Fight Team) and stayed there, being awarded his black belt by the Grappling Fight Team’s leader and head coach Master Julio Cesar Pereira.
Rodolfo Vieira became an overnight sensation in the jiu jitsu world by 2009 after he won the the World Pro Jiu Jitsu Cup - Brazilian Trials, in a combined division of brown & black belts, conquering the 1st spot as a brown belt against high level black belts with tons of experience in top tournaments. He repeated the deed in January 2011, this time as an established black belt winning his weight and the open weight division in the Brazilian trials of the World Pro Jiu Jitsu Cup and also winning the finals in Abu Dhabi. That same year Rodolfo also conquered the Pan American and the World championships in his weight and the absolute weight divisions.
